Hi Guys

I need to release the remote MySQL for a domain of my WHM.
By default the connection is made through localhost.
I want to put the name mysql.mydomain.com as hostname.

When trying to validate the conection, the following error appears:

Do I need to do some DNS configuration for this to work?

I'm putting my root password.

I would appreciate any help :)

Hey there! That error message looks correct to me, as I am not able to connect to that domain name since it doesn't exist in DNS. You'd want to ensure the DNS records are properly created for the mysql subdomain, and then try that configuration again.
