    hello,

i have a number of domains that I use through cpanel. I want to allow a client that I've developed a site for to access and administer email accounts for that domain, without me having any control over passwords, etc. Is this possible? thanks.

I don't think there is any way of achieving this in the default cPanel setup. You can have two accounts on different servers to achieve this i.e. have 1 cPanel account managing hosting and another handling mails where mx record is pointing to the mail server IP.

you can use an add for WHM, there as "root" you can see all emails, change quota, read emails, etc.
