    Hey Guys,

My server is playing up, and rather than work out what's wrong with it - cause a lot is wrong, i've decided it'll be cleaner to just resintall the OS and accounts.

    Now, here's the fun part...

What's the easiest way for me to back up all the accounts:
    /home/user directory,
    mySQL databases
    email accounts and settings
    ftp accounts.

And then reinstate them once the new server is online?

I don't care if i have to do each account manually, i just need assurance that it'll backup and REINSTATE the way it was :)

    Cheers!

    hi again.

i've been crawling google on this, and i've come across this:

    /scripts/pkgacct

can anybody tell me exactly what it does and doesn't back up? I.e. databases, pop accounts, etc?

    cheers!

    xx
