    Hi,

I need to add a big number of forwarders and using the web interface is not really practical.
I found out that the forwarders are stored in /etc/valiases/domainnames.

Can I just edit this file and add then copy paste the email addresses to forward into this file? And will they show in the web interface afterwards?

    Thank you

Yes, this will work. Just be sure the entries in the valiases file are in the correct syntax:

    email@yourdomain.com: addressto@forwardto.com

    one on each line.

When in doubt, just use a real small sample size and actually test it. This will tell you if it behaves in the manner you expect.

    You can also do...
    Code:
    email@yourdomain.com: addressto@forwardto.com, address2to@forwardto.com, address3to@forwardto.com

I tend to prefer keeping things in their original format just to be on the safe side :)

The user account also has direct write access to /etc/valiases/domainname.com if that helps, shouldn't be hard to write some PHP to allow a direct upload/download of the file.
