    Hi all.

I no longer want to keep monthly backups, so I've just unchecked that option in WHM
However I already have some backups inside /cpbackup/monthly

Will next backup delete all already existing monthly backups or should I do it manually?
Can I safely remove that directory?
Is there a better way for this?

    Thanks.

    Hello :)

You will need to manually remove the "monthly" backup directory if you do not want those archives stored on your server. You can safely remove the "monthly" directory itself assuming you do not need those backups.

    Thank you.

    Thanks!
BTW, I will drop some lines about backup retention in the feature requests site :)
