I'm trying to help a buddy convert from Plesk to cPanel. The problem is that the HD with /home on it is failing. The automated WHM xfer from Plesk fails because of this. I'd like to know if I can just do the following:

    (on the plesk server)

    - manually run pkgacct-pXa with the parms "user", "tarroot", "nothing". So it would be something like:

    /scripts/pkgacct-pXa some-plesk-user /backup

That would cause the tarball to get built in /backup (which is just fine) instead of /home (which keeps getting disk errors.

Once the tarball is created, I'm assuming I'd just xfer it to the cpanel box and do an account restore?

    Thanks,

    Frank
