Exim Editor:

1) "Discard emails for users who have exceeded their quota instead of keeping them in the queue." does not work. Mail still builds up in the queue for users who are over quota.

2) System filter file (leave blank to disable) /etc/antivirus.exim. This does not work. I have never seen this work for a very very long time. The path to antivirus.exim is set but in exim.conf this option is missing so how could it be working? If we add the path manually Cpanel removes it. If we dont add it, it doesnt work! Whats the point in having this option if it not working? :confused: It should be in exim.conf shown below! Do we have to start chattring exim.conf to stop cpanel from removing this entry????

#!!# message_filter renamed system_filter
message_body_visible = 5000
<--- Should be here, but its not

DNS:

1) Enter an A record for NS1 and NS2. This does not work. When you try to add an A record nothing is created. Tested S R E

2) DNS FUNCTIONS: Add an A Entry for your Hostname, this does not work either. No A record is created for the Hostname. Tested S R E

I have reverted to creating all System DNS records manually! :mad:

Boxtrapper:

Error message appearing in the logs; virtual_boxtrapper_userdelivery transport output: (internal) Fri Jun 17 20:28:15 2005 [25277] error: Can't locate auto/POSIX/getpid.al in @INC (@INC contains: /usr/lib/perl5/5.6.2/i686-linux /usr/lib/perl5/5.6.2/i686-linux /usr/lib/perl5/5.6.2 /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.6.2/i686-linux /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.6.2/i686-linux /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.6.2 /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.6.2/i686-linux /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.6.2 /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl . /usr/lib/perl5/5.6.2/i686-linux /usr/lib/perl5/5.6.2 /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.6.2/i686-linux /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.6.2 /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl . /usr/local/cpanel /usr/local/cpanel /usr/local/cpanel) at (eval 2) line 1

JAIL
JailShell: Every week we have to go though all the jailed sites and rejail users who should be jaile but are no longer jailed! :rolleyes:

These issues are old with the exception of Boxtrapper which is a new issue. Please fix these errors. I submitted the boxtrapper error to Cpanel and was told to go to my NOC for support. What a lazy tech!

ZEND:
/scripts/installzendopts no longer works. Requires a valid Zend account therefore this download script will no longer work!

MORE COMING .... STAY TUNED!

the installzendopts problem was addressed on bugzilla by cpanel; a sum up is below:

cPanel can not redistribute the zend installer as it would be infringing international copyright laws, and they could not create a system to bypass this as it would be called a "by-passer".

Go on, have a guess
You're also wrong about the very first item. It works perfectly well. Is you'd done a bit more research as RAIS suggested, you would have found a post by me that explained the misconception that it doesn't work.
