I have created a new website in Google Apps for our church, using Google Sites. I'm ready to "go live" with this website, but don't want to stop using my already established website domain name (a sample might be www.church-church.org.

I have tried to follow instructions for changing the CName in Cpanel; however, it says my www.church-church.org is already in use. I'm assuming this is because my old website material is still up. I don't know how to delete the old site in CPanel in order to use the domain name to map it to my Google Apps site.

I did not set up the old website and am not very familiar with CPanel. Any help out there?

If you do not have access to the DNS zones directly, please contact your hosting provider and ask them to edit the zone in WHM > DNS Functions > Edit DNS Zone area to be whatever you are needing to change for Google Apps.
