    Hi

I have a load of parked domains and I need to set them all the default mail settings to :fail:

Can anyone tell me how I can change these an easier way than doing them through WHM? through ssh or anything?

also i got the title wrong, i mean to say Parked domains and not Sub domains :(

    cheers

I can't think of anything offhand short of writing a script that interfaces with our APIs. However, if you want your server to default to fail, just go to Tweak Settings in WHM and for "Default catch-all/default address behavior for new accounts. "fail" is usually the best choice if you are getting mail attacks." select "fail" then click "save" at the bottom of the page.

If I understand the objective, this usually works for me. You may want to open one of the records under /etc/valiases/ to verify what you are replacing.

    replace :blackhole: :fail: -- /etc/valiases/*
