I wrote a script that will look through a file and replace A with B or whatever I want it to. I need to make some massive changes to a LOT of account's DNS zone files on the server.

If I run this script through the DNS zone file directory and have it open/save/close, will the DNS update correctly? I've seen weird problems with the serial numbers and such and didn't want anything weird to happen.

    Thanks in advance.

You will need to increment the serial number by one.
