Massive amount of failures from IP

Yesterday I got about 90 emails from my dedi server, all with the same subject:
Massive amount of failures from IP
\ and the ip is not written
t
he messages contents was as follows:
12 login failures attempts to account ******* (system)
the number of attempts and the user is changing everytime

did someone see that kind of messages before? i googled for it but very strange i didnt find any page talking about the same problem...
Please if someone have any kind of knowledge about such a behavior tell me

I believe mine has never shown IP's

Look at the top of this page....Home User CP cPanel Links New Posts SEARCH

type in "cphulkd"

It's the brute force protection system installed with cpanel.

I also added that mine doesn't tell me who the IP address of the 'attacker' was either, I get exactly the same email as you. It's not ideal, but that's how it works.
