"The maximum each domain can send out per hour (0 is unlimited):" - What exactly happens when someone goes over that limit? Do they get an error, do the messages bounce, or do they sit in the queue until the next hour?

I ask this because one of my users is getting an error on a lot of email addresses in his mailing list: "unrouteable mail domain". Could that error have something to do with the max for each domain?

I recently enabled this (with limits) and a customer emailed me and said they got a specific message saying they had exceeded their limit and to wait before trying again.

Thus, I think your error message may not be related, though I am not 100% sure.

    unrouteable domain error confirmation

I am also getting this error on a custom created PHP listserv script. When I uncheck this setting (located in Tweak Settings) and then restart Apache and EXIM, the emails go through.

I am creating a new thread to deal with this issue.
