Hello,

we have setup in the WHM >> Tweak Settings, max email per hr set to 1000
Code:
The maximum each domain can send out per hour (0 is unlimited): 1000
we have on account that does, on occassion, need to exceed this for their business. We dont want to raise the max limit, as this affect all accounts, but it would be nice to be able to set the max amount per account, or atleast be able send a notification to the account that they have infact exceeded the max allowed emails per hour so they are aware of it. As once they have maxed out, the remain emails are disgarded, as I understand it during the hour time period.

Is there away to setup max email per hour for each individual account somehow ?? Or atleast away to send a notice to the account holder's contact email address that they have exceeded the the max email per hr ??

TIA,

Mickalo

that's interesting! I was just looking at the same exact coding earlier in the Perl exim.pl file and found the same thing and was wonder what that /var/cpanel/maxemails was for as I never seen it. But this does exactly what we need and implemented it and we'll see how it works now.

appreciate you pointing out this posting. Not surprised Chirpy found this .... a real Cpanel Whiz! ;)
