I was testing out the feature under WHM ' Tweak Settings' -> Set Maximum each domain can send per hour.
I set the value to 5,000 to avoid problems blocking MailMan lists.
However, it appears the feature uses ALOT of CPU power. The EXIM processes seem to hang in a loop and consume cpu usage for no reason:
PID USERNAME PRI NICE SIZE RES STATE TIME WCPU CPU COMMAND
68114 root 59 0 5740K 3804K RUN 1:08 42.01% 41.99% exim-4.41-0
67140 root 58 0 5808K 3860K RUN 6:34 41.41% 41.41% exim-4.41-0
These process are just queue process exim -q
Once I disable the 'Set MAximum each domain can send per hour', the processes disappear.
This is cPanel 9.4-S18 with FreeBSD 4.10 and Exim 4.41
Anyone else experienced this problem ?
