may i close rpcbind 111 port?

    Hello all.

    I hear if port rpcbind 111 is one of top risk. may i close thats port? if i close that port, what effect to cpanel and whm?

    Yes, You can block this port on your server and you will get any issues with the cPanel system.

    Hello,

    Closing that port should not cause any problems with the cPanel/WHM service. Note that you may want to use a firewall management utility such as CSF to block and allow ports.
