    ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

This is a test environment where I would like to check the cPanel features. If I can convenience my manager with the cPanel he might allow me to add more cPanel :)

Unfortunately I'm stuck here. Is there any way to bypass the MD5 check? Is that the MD5 check is blocking the installation? I've followed the suggestion in I gone through this Step 5: Configure Your Operating System and removed unwanted group packages, still I the installation fails due to md5 check.. As this is a test environment I don't bother about security I need install it. IS there a way to bypass the md5check?

    Hello :)

Are you installing cPanel on a minimal instance of the OS using the installation instructions in our documentation? Is network/internet connectivity an issue on the system? Please check to make sure all of the requirements listed here are met.

    Thank you.

    Hi Michael,

    Thanks for the info :)

I don't think there is a network issue. Because I'm able to access almost all the servers. Is there a way to bypass the md5check? Is cPanel use the function of yum to verify the md5 or it takes care using some utility which is inbuilt to cPanel?

If it's related to something else. Is there any other log to check(other than /var/log/cpanel-install.log)?

Here are some more info about the machine.

It's a container running on Plesk Cloud Server. Server spec given below:

    [root@mustang home]# cat /etc/redhat-release
    CentOS release 6.5 (Final)

    [root@mustang home]# df -h
Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on
    /dev/ploop42086p1 20G 1.2G 19G 7% /
    none 1.5G 4.0K 1.5G 1% /dev
    none 1.5G 0 1.5G 0% /dev/shm

    [root@mustang home]# free -m
total used free shared buffers cached
    Mem: 3072 850 2221 0 0 807
    -/+ buffers/cache: 42 3029
    Swap: 6144 0 6144

    [root@mustang home]# uname -r
    2.6.32-042stab084.12

Let me know if there is any customization needs to be done :)

I recommend opening a support ticket so we can take a closer look and attempt to complete the installation. You can post the ticket number here so we can update this thread with the outcome.

    Thank you.

    Hi Michael,

Your system is asking for support access ID which I don't have as I'm with Trail also it's not installed.

Also I'm trying the installation on our internal system which doesn't have a static IP assigned to it.

Is there a way around where you can suggest me the possible troubleshooting's?

    Thanks for the time :)

Depending on how far the installation proceeded, you could obtain a support access ID via the command line:

    Code:
    /usr/local/cpanel/cpanel -S
Otherwise, you can send an e-mail to cs@cpanel.net . That will create a ticket in our customer service department, and they will send the ticket to support so we can investigate further.

    Thank you.

    Hi Michael,

Sorry for the delayed response. The issue has been resolved by switching the ISP. However I'm not able to use the trail key as the IP has already have an expired trail key. This IP is assigned by our ISP, hence not sure whether someone else has used it for cPanel trail license(shown by /usr/local/cpanel/cpkeyclt).

Finally I'm trying to use a different ISP, I wanted to check whether the new IP got any trail license associated, hence went to Trial License | cPanel, Inc. and tried to check my new IP. Sometime it shows invalid IP. After several attempts it now shows "Congratulations, this IP is available to use in a trial"

    Is this normal?

    Thanks

You can submit a ticket to our customer service department for questions about the trial license and if it's possible to use it on that IP address.

    Thank you.
