    Mailscanner

    Hi
I have installed mailscanner/spammassasin, but I have an account that need to send attach file .mdb, mailscanner stop the email with this file and the user can't do .zip file to send it. What I must do set to allow the .mdb from this user?

    Thanks

In filename.rules.conf in the mailscanner/etc directory remove the deny for .mdb file types.

Have you tried adding "allow mdb" to filetype.rules.conf?

Are you sure that it's MailScanner and not /etc/antivirus.exim that's blocking it? I'd suggest checking in that file too.

    :) I think you are right ;)

Now I ask something new, is possible that everything is coming from an email (*@appalti.org) is not considered virus or spamm? How can I set something like this?

You can use whitelisting for that. There should be a ruleset in:
    /usr/mailscanner/etc/rules/spam.whitelist.rules

Basically, you would use the format of:

    From: *@appalti.org yes

    And then restart MailScanner.

I write it in the whitelist but mailscanner stop the email with htm or html attach. The message that give me back is:

This message has been rejected. The filters said this:
MailScanner: Found a script in HTML message
