I upgraded my server from cpanel 10 to cpanel 11.
I did also an upgrade of the exim configuration to the new acl methode but have a little problem with it.

I did some custom modifications after the exim upgrade but every time I do an upgrade of cPanel the window with following messages appear indicating that spamassassin filtering is disabled.
    Code:
cPanel was unable to automatically merge your Exim configuration with the new settings that shipped
with the build you have installed (11.11.0-RELEASE_16983) because you have a custom ACL configuration
which cannot be automatically configured. To avoid any mail downtime, we thought it was best to leave
your previous configuration intact until the new configuration can be properly installed. In order to
complete this configuration update, you will need to manually merge your configuration with the new
configuration settings. Please follow the steps below to complete this update:

    	1. Enter the Advanced Configuration Editor
    	2. Notate any custom changes you have made in the ACL section.
You may also which to make a copy of /etc/exim.conf.local
and /etc/exim.conf.localopts as it they your custom settings.
    	3. Click the 'Reset ACL Config to Defaults' button.
    	4. Reinstall your advanced custom settings.

Note: Until you manually complete this update, automatic spam filtering has been rendered inoperable to
    prevent any mail loss.

Is there any possibility to disable the check if you upgraded the exim configuration?

Are you editing the file itself or from the configuration manager windows?

I'm also getting this message every day for about 5 days now. Each time, I follow the instructions, but the message still comes back. The changes I made are through the configuration editor, 4 lines in all.

When I do go through the update manually, it also keeps my changes, so I don't have to reenter them. So it would do it automatically were it not stopping with this error.

I'm doing everything from the configuration manager windows.

This is happening with all of my servers as well.

I follow the instructions for resetting exim to default, then I add in Chirpy's Exim Dictionary Attack ACL, and then when cpanel updates at night, I start receiving the messages again.

I go in and follow the instructions for resetting exim again, add the Dictionary Attack ACL back in.

I have to do this every day.

    Any suggestions?

Make sure you have the new ratelimit settings. There have been multiple updates to the default config as a result of recent spammer tactics, so you may just have to do it one more time.

I've had to do this every single update over the last few weeks and managing 30+ servers I have to say it's a right PITA.
