we are considering re-configuring our infrastructure and I wanted to see if anyone saw any issues with merging our cpanel dns clusters together.

    Our original set up:

    webserver-1a
    webserver-2b
    webserver-3b
    dns-1a
    dns-2a
    dns-1b
    dns-2b

we have one web server syncing only to a cluster of two dns servers (webserver-1a syncs to dns-1a and dns-2a).
we have additional servers that sync to a separate cluster of two dns servers (webserver-2b and webserver-3b sync to dns-1b and dns-2b).

We are considering merging dns clusters together so all three web servers will sync to the four available dns servers (merged into one cluster).

I couldn't find much information online about this. Has anyone done this before? Any concerns we need to have with merging a large number of records at once? Any special considerations if duplicate entries would exist?
