    Maildir gets the following folders

    .Sent
    .Trash
    .Drafts

    SM's config.php is not tweaked for courier-imap
    (WHM 10.8.0 cPanel 10.8.1-C3
    CentOS 4.2 i686 - WHM X v3.1.0)
So once a user logins with SM, the folders are as follows

    .Sent
    .Drafts
    .Trash
    .INBOX.Sent
    .INBOX.Drafts
    .INBOX.Trash

I am really sorry to double post, but someone at cPanel has to find time to set the config.php right so that upcp doesn't get back to uw version with every upcp run and then let admins like us face the abuse of clients for giving them a buggy folder system

If you give me access to your system, i am sure i can duplicate the problem even on your servers if the same config.php is running

Sorry for this tone, but it's really frustrating cleaning up three hundred accounts manually of these extraneous folders

Hope someone is listening. I have no email addresses of cPanel concerned persons else i would have definitely expressed stronger unhappyness.

Pl Pl for God's sake get the things right

You need to either submit a support ticket or better yet a bug report through bugzilla.

    Hello,

I could email you the entire TT sequence privately if you let me have your email address on same issue which was left to be handled by me after having provided root access to server. The issue was mentioned there, (reported to have been corrected in C-73 once pointed out in that very ticket and also in the other thread)

    Thanks
    Anup

Since the moderators here do NOT officially work for cPanel, you need to contact them directly via one of the options I mentioned above. http://bugzilla.cpanel.net/

I have one bugzilla on zero bandwidth on POP traffic after Maildir ... that's unacknowledged still.
Opening up a bugzilla is no issue but i am fighting hard to clear all those extraneous folders for users who may have logged in but not noticed.

I am sure for serious issues on "Under Experimentation" maildir conversion cpanel staff is keeping an eye on these forums for such an issue and that's whay this was addressed to them directly.

    Cheers

Your choice, but the forums are no guarantee and are not the way of contacting cPanel. Did you try a support ticket or even an e-mail to them directly?

It was a issue pointed out in and also noted in
    TT 113975 at 2005-10-15 04:21:44

Which they mentioned as resolved in C-73
    For everyone's stisfaction here's the bugzilla :
    http://bugzilla.cpanel.net/show_bug.cgi?id=3390

As for email, i do not have anyone's email address.
So hope for the best and let's see if there is any response except the standard one that we cannot replicate on our servers.

    Regards
    Anup

A Note regarding Bugzilla (as moderators have repeatedly been advocating it's use):
    http://bugzilla.cpanel.net/show_bug.cgi?id=2589

This is fixed quite sometime back if i recall the changelogs correctly.
*But* the status is still not showing as fixed wrt above bugzilla id.

Sorry for digging this out but reasons are self explanatory. This messed up SM issue is now putting me into a situation where i have to offer support calls as clients feel that their account has been hacked seeing those stupid folders.

    Thanks for reading

I have checked all over and i am convinced that my server setup is perfect and perfect enough not to have caused this mess up repeatedly ... and start losing clients.

I need email addresse(es) of responsible persons at cPanel.
