    rndc: connection to remote host closed This may indicate that the remote server is using an older version of the command protocol, this host is not authorized to connect, or the key is invalid.

    I'm thinking it's not normal

    What were you attempting to do? Do you have your primary and/or secondary nameservers on other boxes? Did this just start happening?

    Primary NS is MASTER
    and the other NS is on the slave box. Been happening since I got the new server
