    Hi,

I have a fairly new installation. I applied some of the tweaks, and now when I create a user, that user cannot even untar a file in their home directory. I can change permissions to 777 and such, but I don't want to do this for each user.

Should I wipe the installation and start over? Is there a way to set permissions back to default?

I tried searching but could not find anybody making this mistake.

    Thanks for the help

    I just wiped it.

Start again fresh. Nothing is critical yet. Good lab environment.
