    Hello,
I am not an expert in perl.. that's why asking.
I have one very old and outdated server running Fedora Core 2 and Plesk 7.5.4. I would love to migrate it to cPanel, but pkgacct script returns the following error:

    Code:
syntax error at /scripts/pkgacct line 695, near "HEAD
                    my "
(Might be a runaway multi-line << string starting on line 689)
Global symbol "@dirs" requires explicit package name at /scripts/pkgacct line 695.
Global symbol "@dirs" requires explicit package name at /scripts/pkgacct line 700.
syntax error at /scripts/pkgacct line 702, near "=="
Execution of /scripts/pkgacct aborted due to compilation errors.

Can anyone suggest anything or should I go straight to support team?

    Anton.

    Hello Anton,

This issue should be resolved in the latest cPanel. Please try the following to update your cPanel:

    Code:
    /scripts/upcp --force
If that does not work, please submit a ticket using the link in my signature or WHM > Support Center > Contact cPanel with the login credentials for both machines and we would be happy to troubleshoot further.

    Thanks!

That helped, thank you. but now I am getting another error:

    Code:
    v5 PSA UID: 14

    PSA UID: 14

MySQL error: ERROR 1054 at line 2: Unknown column 'db.default_user_id' in 'field list' at /scripts/pkgacct line 1175.
Should I still open support ticket?

Please do. We can certainly assist with investigating further.

The error you're experiencing is a fault on attempting to grab Plesk's information about the user databases that have been created through Plesk's interface. The error suggests that at least one column of data we're expecting simply does not exist in Plesk's database. There very well be an issue with our tools in terms of migration from Plesk 7.x, as if memory serves me right I only recall seeing Plesk 8.x, 9.x, and 10.x machines that we've migrated from in recent months.

Please open a ticket (you can use the link in my signature) and we can further investigate.

For anyone coming across this post, note that a case has since been opened regarding this and we do have a workaround available. Until a proper patch is released into the public transfers tree, please contact is if you experience this error and reference Case 53947.
