MIgrate one cPanel account (Website) to another cPanel account

Hi,

I am looking for a super simple migration of my accounts from one server to another. Since not all accounts should be migrated at once i need an account by account migration sollution.

I have same cPanel and same OS (centOS 6.5) on both servers and i don't understand the backup sollution in the cPanel. Do i need to create an account first or can i just make a backup file upload it to new server and import it? Will the backup create an account for me?

OK i've found the solution:

I used this script on the old server:
/scripts/pkgacct usertobackup

then i upload it to /home on the new server and use the cPanel restore full backup function.

Hello

You could also use the transfer options available in Web Host Manager:

"WHM Main >> Transfers >> Copy Multiple Accounts/Packages From Another Server"

You can choose the option Home >> Transfers >> Copy Multiple Accounts/Packages from Another Server for this.

I have updated the link in my last post. You do not have to copy accounts all at the same time. You can choose to only migrate a few accounts at a time if you prefer.
