I have several websites which are composed of a few static pages and thousands of dynamic pages created from MySQL databases. In addition there is a feature which allows the random posting of advertisements from the database to a location on each page (with the ability to add the advertisements via csv.)

The databases are quite large (in this sample case 28,000 lines) and the development costs of the sites considerable, so I would like to be able to:
First
move an existing site to a new URL (which is the primary topic of this post)
And then I can modify the site as needed re design and what data is used.

My question is Can migrate a site to a new URL using WHM and if so are there any special steps to watch out for?

I have manually moved all the backup data from the old URL to the new (using cpanel backup and restore) but find that in this process Cpanel changes the grantee of the database to a new name, but all the scripts in the site use the old name and so nothing works.
Which is easier to do change the scripts or add another grantee to match the scripts?

Hello :)

You can use the "Modify an Account" option under "Account Functions" in Web Host Manager if you simply need to change the domain name associated with the account.

Thank you.
