    Hi,

This has not happened to me yet, but I am curious.

If I attempted to restore a new customer's full backup from a previous host and:
    1. The account had an ssl certificate
    2. The account had a dedicated ip
    3. The new server does NOT have any unused ip addresses

When I attempt to restore the full back up, would it restore the account using the shared server ip address, and would the SSL certificated continue to work due to SNI (server name indication)?

Would this throw any type of error?

    Thank you

    Hello,

The SSL certificate will be restored on the account restore regardless of whether or not it has a dedicated IP address. The only instance the certificate wouldn't work would be if the the server did not support SNI though all supported versions of centOS do support SNI natively.

As far as dedicated IP addresses go the restorepkg script allows a restore to take place without using a dedicated IP in the event there is no available IP addresses. Please see our documentation on this here: The restorepkg Script - Version 68 Documentation - cPanel Documentation
