I need to migrate from one server to another. I need ~0 downtime, but I also need to have the exact same IP's on the new server. I'm using DNS clustering. Is there anyway to do a direct copy? The hard drive space will be smaller on the newer server, so I can't dd.

    How do you recommend migrating?

I'm not sure how you would have the same IPs on your new server unless your datacenter will route the old IPs to the new host.

As for transferring accounts, you could do cpbackups of the accounts and transfer those over, although that really wouldn't minimize downtime. I used the Migrate Me script that was posted here on the forums before, which worked well, but it seems that it is outdated, doesn't work and is no longer supported.
