Hello this is my first post as a new member (also a new cPanel user), we just availed a new license for our cPanel copy. We are currently using Froxlor control panel in one of our server and we would like to change it to cPanel. Is it safe to just change from Froxlorl to cPanel? Or we need to rebuild our server since everything was set and configured thru Froxlor.

    Thanks!

    Hello :)

Your initial post leads me to believe that you are simply wanting to change control panels, and this is not a transfer from one server to another. I'm not completely aware of how much Froxlorl integrates itself into a system, however I recommend installing cPanel on a fresh copy of the OS. Are there existing accounts on this server? If so, you may want to back them up to a remote location if possible, so you can then manually copy over any data if necessary. The following document may be helpful to you:

    Thank you.
