Before migrating to maildir, I always been able to access all mailboxes accounts by clicking the webmail icon next to the Mail icon in the cpanel main screen. Now when I click it, I don't see the mailboxes in there, how do I set to be as before when I was using mbox?

I would like to go to the webmail icon next to the mail icon in the cpanel main screen and see all the email accounts in there, how do I fix it?

Note: the behavior of the webmail icon next the mail icon in the cpanel main screen is different from the webmail link inside of the Mail icon, the webmail inside of the mail icon works for a singular account only, and the webmail icon next to the mail icon in the cpanel main screen worked with multiple accounts.

    Thanks for the help!

If you login to webmail using horde as your main cPanel account, you should see a list of all the email accounts as a drop-down list. Simply select the account you wish to view the contents of.

    Hi David,

It was like this until Friday, when I migrated from mbox to maildir, I really don't know if this is the cause, but since Friday I no longer can do that.

Do you have any idea how to fix it? I really wish to continue administration using webmail. If I login to cpanel as root I get a blank screen on webmail, and if I login to cpanel as user, I don't see the emails in there.

Besides of migrating from mbox to maildir, I had a few upgrades including cpanel, WHM, CENTOS, and MailScanner, ClamAV and MailScanner FE.

Did you successfully complete the MBox to MailDir conversion ? Did you receive any errors while doing so ?

I'd recommend you to run the following from within SSH atleast once, just in case something is broke in the control panel. :
    /scripts/mailperm, /scripts/fixcommonproblems, /scripts/fixeverything &/or /scripts/upcp --force

Viraj, sorry but it took forever to run the scripts, but I am done, the emails are back on webmail, thanks!!

But instead of all mailboxes (inbox, sent, draft, trash, any other), it only shows the inbox of each account, do you know why? do you know how to bring all mailboxes back?

    Thanks again!

    Hi Viraj,

It is okay, it was a nice feature though!!

What about some messages not been delivered, staying in the queue, and when manually trying to deliver, this error message appears:

"closed connection in response to initial connection"

Then it fails. it doesn't matter who is the sender or to whom is been sent to, it just fails.

Have you come across of something similar?

    Thanks!

    Hey,

Just got online & found this reply :)

Well, unfortunately, the support for managing all the mailboxes from one single/main account has been lost in this new release of cPanel's MailDir feature.
You'd need to login to each account individually to check emails.. :(
