migration from one cpanel/whm to new one

Hi,

I want to migrate data from old cpanel/whm to new cpanel/whm...

How can i do it......?

old version : WHM 11.28.87

new version : WHM 11.28.87

Depends. The transfers section on the new server will allow you to copy all of the accounts from the old server either one at a time or in batches. The rest will depend on whether you've already manually configured the new server to your specifications or not and whether you're changing name servers or updating the IPs on your existing name servers to reflect the new server.

Thanks for your reply.I have a query...suppose i migrated data from one to another server(cpanel/whm).and after 2-3 days can i do copied of new updation of data from old to new.......... or i have to migrate again full data from old to new........

It really depends on the structure of your accounts and what you wish to achieve. If the accounts on the source server were suspended on completion of transfer, they should not contain any new data.

If clients have been accessing the old server exclusively, then as you say you can just terminate the accounts on the new server and transfer them again (there isn't any utility to update them). However, if you're in a situation where clients have been accessing and updating content on both the old and new server, there isn't any automated way of reconciling the two.
