Migration of e-mails from Exchange using ADFS + OpenID

Hello, I have a customer who wants to migrate +4000 Exchange mail accounts running on Active Directory.

The possibility of creating these accounts from 0 in cPanel is unfeasible.

We have seen that we can connect ADFS with OpenID:

However, it is not clear to me if the end clients would only be able to access the mails via webmail or if they would have some additional connection method.

The goal is that they would not have to reconfigure their Outlook with new credentials.

Hey there! I'm a bit confused about what you're expecting to happen with the mails and with OpenID. Just to confirm, are you planning to migrate the email data over to a cPanel machine? If so, I would only expect OpenID to work with Webmail, as it adds another box on the login screen. For example, when you login to WHM or cPanel, you have the blue "Login" button, but with OpenID you'd have an additional button beneath that.

This wouldn't affect the Outlook credentials in any way, so if the accounts are recreated on the cPanel system, the passwords would also be recreated unless you have a way to pull those from the Exchange system.
