I accidentally opened my email client on my laptop which is set to pop downloading all my email. When I looked in my webmail, all my sent email, about 1200 emails is missing. I can't think of where it all went. After I realized it (maybe a few seconds in realizing what dumb thing I did) there is no possible way it could have downloaded it all that fast anyway. Needless to say my sent box in my outlook doesn't show any email at all it just disappeared, weird

After you realized it, what did you do exactly? Closed your laptop, closed Outlook? Deleted the pop account from Outlook?

Not sure what happened to your mail, but if it was me and that mail was important, I might open Outlook on the laptop again and see what happens. If it really is gone for some strange reason, restoring email from backups is probably something to start thinking about.

Good luck with this.

You may want to restore a backup of the account and download the messages to your email client again if possible.

Thank you.
