Email accounts not listed after upgrade to 11.32.2

Hi

Just upgraded, but now no email accounts are listed in cpanel (although it does still report "ATTENTION: Using 9 out of 10 available Email Accounts")

Any hints on how to get these back would be great

Thanks

Re: cPanel Releases cPanel & WHM 11.32 to the RELEASE tier

I am really sorry to say this upgrade has caused us TONS of problems with our clients. This is the first time I believe cPanel has launched a crappy upgrade.

Re: File Manager Problem After Upgrade 11.32

You can do a forced upgrade checking the box for it in WHM or from SSH, you can run the following:
Code:
 # /scripts/upcp --force
Sometimes Cpanel updates just get munched on a case by case basis ever now and then and just don't go as expected. Running a forced update will often fix those kind of problems.

If a forced update doesn't fix a problem, then there may be an actual issue with the update itself but then more people would probably be reporting the same issue and Cpanel would have to release a fix.

I haven't heard of any blank file manager issues lately so what Infopro is telling you to do will probably fix your problem.

Re: cPanel Releases cPanel & WHM 11.32 to the RELEASE tier

After the update from a previous STABLE version to this STABLE version alot of things stopped working.
Unable to use the Mail Queue Manager, unable to press Update Now button from Update preferences, DNS zone edit doesn't work properly, if a domain name is selected from the list and after pressing the Edit button an error appears that it can't find Search.db

Could not read from zonefile /var/named/Search.db at /usr/local/cpanel/Cpanel/NameServer/Local/cPanel.pm line 920

All these happen on a server which was on the previous STABLE build and after the update these issues appeared.

Any clues to what is causing this ?

Thanks

seems that running /usr/local/cpanel/scripts/upcp --force fixed the issues previously described

Re: cPanel Releases cPanel & WHM 11.32 to the RELEASE tier

On all of our cPanel servers, it seems that all javascript features have stopped working (in cPanel and in WHM). Looking at the page with a dev tool, it says that /cPanel_magic_revison_0/yui-gen/utilities_container/utilities_container.js is missing. There are also many references to "YAHOO is not defined". Before I dig further, has anyone else seen this?

That definitely seems like an update failure. A forced update would be the way to go for this.

Re: File Manager Problem After Upgrade 11.32

I had same problem today. No files listed in filemanager + My left menu in WHM was not collapsing / expanding too. Problem happened with all my computers, so I understood that it was not a problem at my side. I searched in forums and I saw this post.

I forced the reinstall from WHM ... the installation progress bar displayed always 0% (as result of this bug) but it managed to install everything correctly after some waiting (I could see that it finished because I did a manual scroll of the installation log window until the log said it finished)

Now filemanager works again, and I reloaded whm in a new explorer window and menus and everything are now collapsing/expanding fine too.

Problem solved. Thank you!

Nick, a forced update fixed the javascript issue on one box, so I'm doing them all, many thanks for the quick reply!

Getting dozens of complaints from customers stating that their email accounts all disappeared from their cPanel/Email icon.

Emails all still seem to be working (sending/receiving) they just are not showing up under Email Accounts.
Unless you hit the link: If you need an interface that uses less JavaScript click here.

Then they all show up. Customers also can not ADD new email accounts. Clicking the submit button on there does NOTHING.

This is not good. I don't want to tell dozens if not hundreds of customers that the solution is to go to the version that has less Javascript.

This is the STABLE release... Was this not tested before now???
