    Missing Module?

    Im using CPanel10.8.1-RELEASE 30

I cant see Web Protect anywhere. I do however have an Icon called "Password Protect Directories"

Is this the same thing? Thanks

"Password Protect Directories" will allow you to set username/password combinations that are then required to access a given URL. Search on the web for ".htaccess" for more on this topic.

If this is the same as what you would expect "Web Protect" to do, then yes they are the same. If not, then no.

Thanks for your reply. I was just confused as I keep hearing reference to "Web Protect" on Cpanel and cant see it. Wondered if maybe it was an optional module. Even the Cpanel site lists "Web Protect" as an option under site tools where they show their features. Like I said, I dont see it on mine.

I know I can edit the .htaccess file manually so its not a train smash.

    Thanks again
