    Hello!

Few of my clients have lost (deleted?) their etc dirs (eg. /usr/home/user12/etc). Inside there, there were files needed for mail to work. Now, the question is: how to get this folder back? We looked into the backups made by CPanel, but they are also etc-less.

    Go on, have a guess
If they're not in the backups (presumably because they deleted them before your backups were created) then you'll have to recreate the accounts and then restore what you do have over the top.
