In the mobileconfig, the IncomingMailServerHostName and OutgoingMailServerHostName is set to server name

How can we change this so it is set to the accounts domain instead (or mail.theaccountsdomain.com)

When we are transferring accounts to another server the user has to change settings when it is server name instead of domain.

Same thing in "Mail Client Manual Settings" in cPanel and webmail.

How can we change this globally so it uses the accounts domain instead?

Hey
Yes, the cPanel >> Email Accounts >> "Connect Devices" and also when logged in on webmail startpage at domain.com/webmail and click "Configure Mail Client"

And in the mobileconfig file that is used to setup email accounts and you get it via the link "IMAP over SSL/TLS" to the right of f ex iOS for iPhone/iPad/iPod and MacOS® Mail.app® in cpanel och webmail.

I heard back from the team and currently there is not a way to change that behavior. The information that shows up depends on the SSL in use, and isn't configurable at the user level.

This would make for a nice feature request, though, if you'd like to submit one!
