Greets All,
Can I configure EXIM/Cpanel/WHM, or perhaps via a MOD or APP or Something, that will allow, on a per domain basis, the ability to limit inbound SMTP connections?
As we all know, we are fighting SPAM, and S.A. seems be losing the battle.
I've tried ASSP, which is great, until it blocks too much good mail, and you spend more
time getting good mail through.
Then I went to mail scanner, which is better than S.A. alone, not as good as ASSP, but at least I don't
spend my time getting good mail through.
I'm now offering external mail filtering, but as we know, if they deliver straight to the server, regardless of
the MX records pointing elsewhere, then that spam STILL gets through.
Is it possible to configure, code, or obtain a MOD/Plugin accounts/domains to NOT accept email when it is NOT coming in from the specified IPs/Blocks?
or what else can be done to deal with spam, server wide besides external server mail filtering?
