Mod Rerwrite with Dynamic Dns

Does anyone know how to create wildcard subdomains in a frdora linux server running cpanel current.
I'v tried on the net but it doesnt work, I have root access ofcourse.
I want to create :
http://www.ANYTHING.mydomain.com
http://ANYTHING.mydomain.com

Its for a URL redirection serveice and short url service
All help would be appriciated

Do a search on the forums for wildcard subdomains and you'll get plenty of hits with information on how to do it.
