Is there a way to stop mod security from denying google bot? I have the default rules that come from cpanel. I get this:

Access denied with code 406 (phase 2). Invalid UTF-8 encoding: not enough bytes in character. [id "950801"] [msg "UTF8 Encoding Abuse Attack Attempt"] [severity "WARNING"]

    Thanks in advanced.

What logs are you looking in mod_security?

I have recently been having problems with Googlebot as well.

Just the ones that are in WHM when clicking mod security I think I removed the rule I will wait to see if it works, it is the rule that has the 95081 and UTF 8 it is from the first ones.

Are you sure its googlebot and not goolag? I'd make sure before allowing full access.
