mod_alias.c Problem

Hi, sometimes my apache stops for a short moment maybe a minute or 2 and than everything gets back to normal !

when i checked the error log it gave me :

&& httpd: module &mod_alias.c& could not be loaded, because the dynamic
&& module limit was reached. Please increase DYNAMIC_MODULE_LIMIT and recompile.

could somone please tell me the cause and the solution to how to increase the limit !!
