Don't install it. Takes the server offline.

    Hello,

Would you mind opening a support ticket so we can observe this behavior and see what's happening? You can post the ticket number here and we'll make sure it's investigated right away.

    Thank you.

Hi was anything ever sorted for this? I enabled Mod_cpanel on a production VPS and it sent the load over 58. the system on has 3 cores so there was an extra 55 load.....

I've disabled it, and cannot enable unless the issue is definitely resolved.

Edit: I haven't submitted a ticket as I can't afford to reactivate mod_cpanel even for testing as its a production server. Just hoping there may be an easy solution to fix the load issues? I couldn't even find anything in the logs

    Hello,

Can anyone experiencing this issue verify if the Apache HTTP2 module is installed on the affected system(s)? You can check with a command like this:

    Code:
    httpd -M|grep http2
Internal case EA-7387 is open to track reports of high CPU usage when mod_cpanel and HTTP2 are installed at the same time, however we've yet to reproduce the issue on a test environment. If you confirm that HTTP2 is installed, please open a support ticket and reference case EA-7387 so we can take a closer look. Once the ticket is opened, post the ticket number here and we will update this thread with the outcome.

    Thank you.

    Hey,

I can confirm I am also using http2 (and php-fpm) and the worker MPM but as mentioned before I will be unable to activate mod_cpanel as this is a production server and cannot risk further downtime :(

    Hello,

To update, a solution for internal case EA-7387 is now going through testing. I'll update this thread again once the fix is published.

    Thank you.
