I've noticed that mod_dosevasive seems to cause problems with FrontPage, especially when someone is copying multiple files at once. It took me forever to find the actual problem, but then I realized that multiple calls to author.exe could seem to be a DoS attack.

Disabling mod_dosevasive seemed to fix the issue, but does anyone (including Cpanel) have an idea on how to make dosevasive work around this issue?

    No. From the mod_dosevasive documentation:

Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... Click to expand...
