At this time, EasyApache doesn't natively support mod_geoip.

    Any plans to include mod_geoip?

Any plans to include this, David? Would be nice to not have to manually rebuild it every time apache is rebuilt.

I'm not aware of any plans for implementing mod_geoip support. However, an easy way to avoid manually rebuilding it every time Apache is recompiled via EasyApache would be to create an EasyApache Custom Optional Module (OptMod).

Procedures for how to do this were explained at the 2008 cPanel Conference and the slides for this presentation are available at:

    http://www.cpanel.net/conference/08/files/EA3Build.pdf

I recommend reading through all the slides about Custom OptMods before building your own as the example provided is enhanced throughout that portion of the presentation to introduce additional capabilities of Custom OptMods. Of course, understanding the build process discussed at the beginning of the presentation will help you better understand some of the components of a Custom OptMod script.
