mod_gzip install problems

I get this error @ make install:

grep: /usr/local/apache/libexec/mod_gzip.so: No such file or directory
[activating module `gzip' in /usr/local/apache/conf/httpd.conf]
cp mod_gzip.so /usr/local/apache/libexec/mod_gzip.so
cp: cannot stat `mod_gzip.so': No such file or directory
apxs:Break: Command failed with rc=1
make: *** [install] Error 1

The current install does not include that file. We have been grabbing it from other servers.

You can contract me on AIM (kwimberl) if you need help.

oh, so can I just grab the mod_gzip.so from one of my other servers and place it in the proper dir then?

can someone please send me a copy of mod_gzip which run in rh7.2, i can't compile it, it return error while compile. and the mod_gzip.so file at remotecommunications.com is compile without -DEAPI....
