Well recently one of our customers requested mod_gzip, thought why not..

I checked it, and there was an option in the WHM.

Installed it etc, all went fine no errors, check the php info, and it was installed.

Problem is.. it doesnt seem to work? :S

have i missed something, or have i done something wrong?

    thanks for your help.

    Regards.

Do you see the Add/LoadModule statements for mod_gzip in httpd.conf?

By default that's all you should need as the PHP application should know how to use it, but you may also need to put in a base configuration (there are plenty of examples out there) in httpd.conf.
