mod_mime / mod_mime_magic

Hi there,

I've a short question. Some of our customers needs the apache extensions:

mod_mime m
mod_mime_magic

I recompiled apache with EA and selected mime_magic. After that i looked for them with httpd -l
both of them are compiled within apache.

So the problem is that I can't use the php mime-functions "mime_content_type()" for example. I probably have a thinking error but I hope you can help me to get this things running, without some workaround functions I've seen on php.net.

Hi,

In the PHP documentation for mime_content_type(), they indicate the functionality has moved into a pecl module in current versions (PHP 5.3/5.4) of their product. Have you tried installing that pecl module?
