I have CentOS release 5.8 (Final) 64 bit
    Python version: /usr/bin/env python
    Python 2.4.3 (#1, Feb 22 2012, 16:05:45)
    [GCC 4.1.2 20080704 (Red Hat 4.1.2-52)] on linux2

Only installation from Subversion repository has been worked for me fine:
    1. # svn co asf - Revision 1325742: /quetzalcoatl/mod_python/trunk
    2. # cd trunk/
    3. # ./configure --with-apxs=/usr/local/apache/bin/apxs
    4. # make
    5. # make install
    6. # vim /usr/local/apache/conf.d/python.conf
    #
    # Mod_python is a module that embeds the Python language interpreter
    # within the server, allowing Apache handlers to be written in Python.
    #

    LoadModule python_module modules/mod_python.so
    7. # /usr/local/apache/bin/apachectl -t
    Syntax OK
    8. # /usr/local/apache/bin/apachectl -k graceful

None of versions form Archive FTP Index of /dist/httpd/modpython are worked with different errors.

    Hello,

What is the specific question being asked? This does not appear to be a developer question for using the API or coding, so that's why I am trying to determine the purpose of the thread.

    Thanks!
