mod_rewrite tutorial cpanel

    I want it.. Some people said It's just .htaccess Some saying I need to change the http.conf file... /???? Which one.. ?>??

    Changing .htaccess will be much comfortable. Please give me a easy tutorial.

    I checked easyApache there is nothing about mod_rewrite :(

    Help me.

    mod_rewrite is enabled by default in cPanel. What is it exactly that you need to do with your htaccess? Explaining that might be helpful in explaining your next steps.

    For example, if you wanted to block an IP from accessing your website, you'd use the IP Deny Manager in your cPanel. Adding the IP there, adds that IP to your .htaccess file.

    Using the Password Protect Directories tools in your cPanel, writes to your .htaccess

    Using the Redirects tools in your cPanel will also write to your .htaccess file.

    Isn't a question that can be answered without more details on what it is, you want.
