Hi all

I'm after some advice if anyone can help.

We have a server configured to use PHP-FPM along with http2.

I've received one of the "Security Advisor notifications" emails from the server recommending we install mod_ruid2 and change users to jailshell. What would fall out of installing mod_ruid2?

I vaguely remember something about being unable to run PHP-FPM/http2 along with mod_ruid2. But it was a while back when this was configured.

For reference, the server itself is primarily used to host sites for our organisation and no one outside our team has access to WHM or cPanel accounts individually.

Thanks in advance.

You would be unable to use both http2 and mod_ruid2 together since they are incompatible. If you need to use http2, I suggest considering CloudLinux's CageFS as an alternative to the JailShell tweak setting. You can read more about CageFS below:

What is Cagefs?
