    Well, this is odd,

    I have

    WHM 9.9.0 cPanel 9.9.1-S50
    RedHat 9 i686 - WHM X v3.1.0

and when clicking on the CPANEL/WHM NEWS I see the mod_ssl higher on the installed version.
Given all upgrades are done via the UPCP and Update Apache and the only choices for Update Apache is SSL Module (Version 2.8.19), I would think that this is the latest and the available.
    Isn't it?

In the CPANEL/WHM NEWS I see:
    Module Latest Version Installed Version
    mod_ssl 2.8.18 2.8.19

    Go on, have a guess
Yes, it's been like that for a few months now ;) Either a typo or misconfiguration, but you want to be running 2.8.19 anyway as the previous version had a vulnerability in it.
